While I don't often cite aesthetic reasons for purchasing peripherals like external hard disks, at times a device looks just - so - amazing that I have no other choice.With a brushed metal outer finish, the canvio looks really sleek and stylish. Like the supermodel of hard disks.As far as functionality goes, been using it for a while. It's dependable. Gives decent transfer speeds on USB 2.0 and 3.0 both, relatively. Great deal for 3999.

i purchased it on 10th of August 2016. They say that "we provide you 3 years guarantee". But unfortunately, they don't. I Protected my HDD with a password. After some time i tried to reset the password but by mistake i uninstalled the inbuilt password tool. So, i contacted toshiba and they referred me a service centre in Jaipur. I visited there but they denied to repair just because it has slight scratches. They should not do like this. It brings disrepute to the goodwill.
