Very good product. The company is most responsive when there is replacement or repair. Toshiba has a good policy to give new product as a replacement. On the contrary, established companies like SEAGATE gives a certified repaired hard disk as a replacement for faulty product. The certified repaired hard disk is good for nothing. It surely goes out of oder within 3-4 months of usage. Meantime your warranty gets over. Never ever buy SEAGATE. With full confidence go for TOSHIBA products, they are responsible enough.

Feel cheated when visited Toshiba service center

Feel cheated, because today I visited the Toshiba service center in Chandigarh. I astonished to listen that the hard disk I have is already a replaced unit and it has warranty only till August 2018 means I got only 2 years warranty instead of 5 years. Be careful when you order IT products online.
Worst HDD

The worst product to buy on Flipkart.
The product was DOA(Dead on arrival).The brand name "TOSHIBA"is losing its brand value in terms of reliability.
Got the product on 08-09-2014 but when try to install in on my system it didnt work.first of all it was recognized but then my system showed error.more over i have checked with different system for the same but no JOY.and also HDD is producing clicking sound which is clearly stating that the HDD is not working properly.
now the HDD will be returned and a refund will be done.
Wow better than seagate

wow this hdd's specification is better than seagate's baracudda... perhaps on all respects like price, shock tolerence, power consumption, tranfer rate, seek time, eco freindliness etc... I have bought tw of them and they are fine... in fact the seagate's latest 1 TB models have inhernt problems... this doesnt suffer from such things... if you are looking for an alternative to seagate here your search ends....

This thing will eat Seagates Barracuda and WD Blue for breakfast in real world. A very reliable HDD with super speed and excellent after sales support but Flipkart's price is way too high. It can be easily bought for Rs 3350 but here its Rs 500 more. Disappointing.
