just 5 months and the product has given away. Not working. The bottom of the jug, the SS part and the plastic has opened up. No rough use. Very disappointed. Kitchoff support numbers have no response. Poor support.
Also the top cover is fully plastic which is not good as the hot vapour and water are directly exposed ...

The product had the assembling issue when I received it as a result the top opening was not getting locked then I myself had corrected it now the screws on top of handle developed rust. Also the top cover is fully plastic which is not good as the hot vapour and water are directly exposed to it. Otherwise as of now the water is getting heated as expected

Product is very good and more shiny. I wish that it would stay like this for years to come. As many mentioned in their reviews, yes it had quite a short cable, but we were lucky that we have the Plug point very near by and so it did not cause any problem for us.I would recommend this product to others, but they should also keep in mind about the length of the power cable.

Gathers rust within a 5-6 months of use

The part of the kettle's inner surface which is joint to the spout gathers rust, rendering the kettle unusable. This is problematic, since the primary use itself of this kettle is to boil water. The rust gathers within 4-5 months of usage, which doesn't happen with plastic kettles. Once it gathers rust, you have to dispose of this kettle and purchase a new one. You'd rather spend that extra amount and buy a decent kettle one time that works for much longer than 5-6 months.
