The lid on jars have rubber gasket for sealing but this feature was nor visible in product photo. The gasket is loose fitting and is difficult to clean and every likelihood of grtting damaged if not handled carefully. The trend is for grooved lids which are leakproof and easy to clean.
In my opinion, such features of the product should have been clearly visible on the site while one checks a product. With such components in the product, it would have been better if a spare set of gasket was provided with the unit.

Bought this grinder thinking Philips products are made to last. But unfortunately after using it for just over a month (maybe used it 6-7 times in that time) the grinder has completely stopped working. Now I have to take it to the service center to get it fixed as Flipkart will not replace it as it has been more than 30 days. Even the quality of plastic and general build quality of the grinder is not what you would expect from a Philips product. I would suggest that you avoid this grinder in favor of another company.

Rs 1200, this grinder by Phillips is good. Makes noise but that's common. Build is satisfactory. Bigger jar has to b dealt carefully,opens while operating. My Main uses are shakes and vegetables grinding and so far servers my needs without issues.

Update after 3 months of use: the product stopped working altogether. No possibility for return or exchange.I would strongly advise against buying this product.Original review: Frankly, not a good product. It shakes like crazy and makes a lot of sound. Kids close properly. However, the handle on the large jar keeps getting lose at the bolts because of the shaking, which results in leakage while in use, and this needs to be manually fixed every single day...

Pathetic Product. Does not stand to Phillips as a brand. Right from product quality, design, and handling; everything is bad about it. I was using wonderchef machines earlier which was way more efficient, userfriendly and stronger than this machine. Phillips brand name duped me and I ended up buying it. Its just 4 months and i am already feeling i wasted my money on it.
