I had been using a DCM 55 4-cup Coffee Maker for several years now. The product was good but one of it's parts broke off recently making it useless. Since I generally make only 2 cups of coffee at a time, I thought I will go for a smaller one. Since there was no model with 2 cups from Black & Decker, I decided to settle for their 1 cup offering. Since I mix milk, I thought 1 cup of black coffee would be sufficient for two cups. So I bought it, but was disappointed. Firstly,the cup that comes with it is too small. Secondly, the filter is also tiny. How much ever small the quantity of coffee powder you put, it will expand and over flow and reach your cup. You have no option but to take the whole coffee maker and wash, instead of the filter. There is no stopper for the coffee dripping unlike in DCM 55. The good thing is that it is very small and hence very portable. Since it is only 300 watts, it works with my inverter.
