Product as such is great, my mom just loved it, i used it for only onions and some vegetables, but my mom started doing for everything, Infact she puts ginger, garlic , coconut pieces.

In less than 10 seconds you get your onions chopped. I even tried to make Musambi juice and it too came out nicely. Well, I am a student and I cant spend much on a juicer, thus this makes a perfect combo for me. Juice extraction is not as much as a juicer but still we can manage with it. Overall a great product. Would save at least 15-20 mins of our time when we cook.
It is easy to clean too. All we have to be careful is that the blade is not fixed. So when we dissemble the whole thing to clean, we have to be careful about the blade. Otherwise it may fall on to our leg.
Anyway, it serves the purpose of chopping in a great way. I am happy with my purchase.
Excellent Product

Excellent product from Philips. Chops almost all vegetables in seconds. Even tried with meat and it minces in less than 30 seconds. My wife was telling that it has reduced her job in the kitchen like chopping of vegetables or mincing of meat considerably. Have asked my colleagues to keep this essential item in the kitchen to reduce the work load and make cooking easier and simple.
a poor choice

philips and the sellers seem confuses whether to call it a chopper or a blender. philips says chopper but others "blender'. it is actually a blender, as it makes all vegetables into very small pieces. You can never get medum or big chunks.
Now, about the item i received: item was manufactured in Feb 2013, looked as if it spent 2 years in shop display. too much dust inside and outside. was almost tempted to return; blades were put loosely inside the box, without the sheaths (which were supposedly to be there) end result was scratches inside the jar!
I will never buy a product from prashant electricals ever again;
Onion chopper only

Hold your breath ...You don't need to spend thousands of rupees for an onion chopper my friend. Just use the knife in your home. This is absolutely ridiculous product. I was flayed by the idea but this unit cannot chop anything other than onions. In fact, you have to do more work than the blender which is stupid.
Nothing beats a Knife. Lesson Learned.
Good product with good after sales service but with manufacturing defect

I was gifted this chopper. The blade had a manufacturing defect. The beaker broke because of that. But, my whole product was replaced by Philips service center.It is a very good product and makes life easy. So I bought another one to gift to another person. But the blade in this set also has a manufacturing defect. I will have to go to the service center again.I will give the product a five star rating.The manufacturing defect has bought it down to one star rating.But because of the excellent after sales service given by Philips. I will give the product a four star rating

VERY poor box condition!!!! Out of so many products I have bought from Amazon this its the worst. Didn’t expect such quality from An amazon product. Pls refer pictures.
