don't need to write a detailed one, there are a couple of reviews that are spot on. It's a budget lens for amateurs and use it as much as you can before moving on to the good lens. Noise is annoying, auto focus lacks but it's worth the money considering the amount you're paying for a "macro"
Good lens at a good price

Its a good lens at a decent price but its main problem is there is no image stabilization or VR in this lens which is a big blow.It forces you to use a tripod or in the sports mode otherwise your image can be a little blurred.Overall its a good lens

Perfect for Nikon D3300

This lens works absolutely perfect with NIKON D3300 . Its Autofocus is very responsive. I dont know why some users faced problem with AF.Also , one must handle this lens with extreme care and protect from Suspended dust particles, as they may hinder/restrict Auto lens motorised movements.Another thing , at max zoom , a micrometer shake may result horse look like elephant !!! so be prepared to use a good and sturdy tripod along with this lens...

I love the versatility of this lens as far as the zoom is concerned. It helps a lot to frame the shots you want. Autofocus works quite well for both macro and regular. I do miss vibration stabilization which it doesn't have at 300mm (lots of blur) but this can be countered by a tripod or shooting wildlife in full sun with fast shutter speeds. For the price this lens is good. One with Vibration Stabilization is quite more expensive. I am still practicing with it to reduce the blur. It does give a nice bookeh even when it's at F4
Average lens for beginners. Though u can get good images if u know pitfalls.

It's a good lens given the price. All pros and cons mentioned in other reviews. I won't repeat. Sharing my personal experience, after use of 1 month the internal autofocus mechanism started responding weirdly. At times I have to switch to manual focus mode to focus object of interest. In macro mode at times autofocus fails....... Overall subpar entry segment lens . kindly look for an alternative.

love this telephoto lens that i bought for my nikon D3300. super easy to use and work like charm in my nikon D3300. even once had small problem with AF ...and managed to get free service under warranty. highly recommend it, if you want budget tele photo lens
