Good Camera, Good Features, Simple to Use, BUT POOR Battery Backup (only 2 hours running). Suggest buyers to buy another standby battery. Another downside is that the battery takes longer to charge. You can not shoot while charging is another downside. Overall, a good buy. Value for Money.

its a superb camcorder to buy.. i got one for my personal use a month back and i am very happy with this product. i got it in deep blue colour. wat attracted me the most was carl zeiss lens which is not available in sx21e series. also it is provided with a 3 inch touch screen lcd which rotates 360 degrees. though the still photoshoot is not good (VGA), videorecording id simply perfect.. if u are confused between sx21e and sx45e, i seriously ask u to go for this one.. 5000 rupees of xtra cash is not a big deal.

I have bought this one from a local store for the same price as flipkart.
This is an awesome camcorder for its price.
I loved its tiny dimensions. It fits snugly into your palm.
The tilt able LCD screen is very useful with the touchscreen options.
Menu is not user friendly, but you will accustomed to it as you use.
All the buttons are placed ergonomically in right place.
This camcorder has face detection feature and takes sometime to identify the faces in the frame. Because of this feature, if you wish to record a sudden situation you may end up with a blurry video. So be ready in advance with the focus adjusted before you record your video. This camcorder is not ready for sudden surprises.
Video and audio clarity are awesome but color reproduction is average.
Zoom is excellent. You need a tripod to exploit the full zoom.
I bought one for Rs. 700 from ebay.
The camcorder has options to record at 640x480 and 720x480.
The LED light is useless in completely dark conditions, but very useful in low light conditions like indoor parties. The still picture mode is useless with VGA resolution.
The camcorder has an internal memory of 4GB and supports external media too.
Battery backup is a bit less to 2 hrs. Always charge and discharge fully for longer battery life.
I suggest you to buy another spare battery for Rs. 1900
Overall this camcorder is a bang for buck in its price.
I am enjoying it a lot.
