I have been a fan of Chetan Bhagat for his excellent writing ability. His books like "Five point someone", "2 States", "3 mistakes of my life" will fill up my heart as forever. But this book really disappointed me. Story is about 2 boys and 1 girl on the background of Varanasi. It is about the difference of those two boys who used to be friends and role of the girl in their life. Story was going well but in the midway, it got extremely boring. Needless to say its ending has not been much interesting as I expected. Message of the story is good and also the finishing was touching. But something is missing that's my opinion as a reader. What tried to express through the book is done 100%. Its really interesting thing thread for a bollywood movie. Surely this story also having a scope for a hit movie. All the very best chetan . At begining of my first purchase i had faced a problem when i paid for an Washing machine . they have not delivered it for a month and have to place complaint through PayPal. At last they delivered the Machine after 45 days. Any way , then after i have no problems purchasing with them and i make sure that i will pay for them using my paypal account. as i will have buyer protection. Well this book is really amazing and it has remembered me my collage days. i have completed this book in less than a day. and i recommend this book a MUST READ.Lovedreading this book and completed in 3 days!! U ll like to read it again...! go 4 it... Thnak u chetan ....waiting for your new book..Chetan Bhagat is an awesome author. No wonder he knows how to narrate an incident, or pen down a beautiful story. To be very honest.. I din't like the book when i was reading the first hour.. Then it gradually got my interest into it without my knowledge.. Its a very nice story, with passion for love, country and money..delivery was on time, book rcvd in good conditionTo cut the story short - Gopal loves Aarti and doesn't hesitate to tell her so. Aarti loves Gopal as a friends (sic!) and probably has a secret crush on Raghav and later confesses it to him. Raghav in turn also begins to love Aarti but has already set his priorities, none of which feature Aarti. On reading the book, I kept on getting the feeling that the book has been written with the ultimate objective of getting someone to bring it to the big screen. So it is more of a screenplay than a work of literature. Pros: Thankfully, the story was a slightly bit more interesting than some of the other books out there. Fast paced All the ingredients of a pot boiler are there - Love, Sex, Revenge, Corruption (A new one these days) Cons: Incidentally, some of the dialogues sound well when said in Hindi but turn absolutely ridiculous when translated verbatim to English. One thing I really hated was the Chetan sir, one drink? I can tell people I had a drink with the Chetan Bhaga bit. Talk about narcissism. I didnt like the three characters: Gopal was an insecure miser who always kept on comparing himself to Raghav; Raghav was an insanely naïve writer who wouldnt take a hint even if it danced naked in the from of his eyes; and Aarti who had the looks but ditched Gopal for Raghav when the former couldnt clear entrance exams and came back to him when he became the director. All the grammatical oddities apart, this is a book which I will place as below 2 States and 5 Point but above One Night and way way way above 3 Mistakes. Incidentally, a series or One, Two, Three, Four and Five.thanks your services r really good.... received the books on time...i would say this is a good book but expected alot from cbwas just about a Okay read.....would love to read it from girl's perspective...The book has all the makings of a masala bollywood movie. This book cannot be called a great work of literary fiction. But the book is fast paced and keeps you hooked till the end. You will identify with the characters and you would be eager to find out how their lives evolve. It also has a very hindi movie like twist in the end. Definitely worth a one time readGood fiction in most realistic way..! Only a few has mastered this art & CB is one of those masters..! Good Read..
