Fantastic sound ! Bad build quality and service.
Hi there,The reason I have delayed almost 1.5 years before writing the review is to make sure you know exactly what you are getting into. The product is fantastic, but there are so many minute problems, and the jabra customer service is really bad.I faced my first problem 3-4 months after using it, when the inside of the ear cups started tearing apart. I messaged to seller here, he asked me to take it up with the Jabra service as it was beyond 15-20 days mark. But the problem was minute, I could live with that, Jabra didn't get back to me.After another 3 months of using it like that, I called them again, and again. Finally after about an year I got them, and they did replace the pads. After an year the left side of the headset randomly stopped working every now and then, just the left and ONLY on BLUETOOTH. I tried contacting them again, but they told me the product was out of warranty and cannot be replaced OR REPAIRED. I was happy to pay for it, if it could be repaired, but they refused. So basically though the sound is unbeatable at this cost, it might only last you for an year or so, after that you can use it as a wired headset. I really love the product but I personally believe when you buy a product its not just about the product itself but the experience of using it, and that wasn't the best with this. Thanks,Arjun
Had to return just after 30 mins from receiving.. product is damaged and inside of box and all over headphones it is full of dust and earpads got teared by the time I recieved it.About the quality of sound it is not as good as my old urbanears plattan wired headphones. But still does the job. Liked the bass, which is perfect and really giving good soothing pleasure at lows and mids. Microphone is picking outer noises even though I am louder and close. I heard people saying my voice is clear and I tested by recording whatsapp voice chats.. Could not use much as I had to return. Packed after 20 mins of usage.Build is okay, plastic is rigid which feels like soap Box grade but thin. Fit is perfect for my head and head band is awesome. But 20 mins really didn't give me any pain on ears. Headband extension for different sizes is seems cool but I don't think it lasts long enough. Red color is awesome but it is mix of more magenta and less red.Controls are most hated part and seriously cheapest of this range. I expected double tapping of pause/play button to change song but turned out to be redail button. Could not explore much on this.Charging cable and connectivity aux wire for wireless mode are cheapest build quality and they are 100/- range .I can hear only either of one side using wire. Bluetooth seems fine. For handling wise, not at all for rough users like me. Pads are soft and small pressure on them may put a scar. May be uncomfortable if you wanna put them where ever you want, they need space.Thats all i can give for product review. To amazon, i recommend to inspect before you are sending an item to your valuable customer. I recorded a video while unboxing it and felt uncomfortable finding dust all over box, inside of the box, headphones. I tried to wipe dust on earpads but It got stuck deeply. Not only dust the big disappointment is teared earpads at joint of plastic merge. For my surprise accessories cover was already open and wire is working with only one side . BIG DISAPPOINTMENT .Still i gave 3 point rating as sound really impressed me . And fit, color are perfect for my taste.PLZ WATCHOUT AMAZON.IN
I purchased the Philips SHB7000 4 months ago. It was lacking in many ways. Noise cancellation was too low, and call quality was an absolute nightmare. So, I decided to spend 2000 more and buy the Jabra Move. So far, I must say I'm very satisfied with the product.- ConnectivityDamn easy to turn on and connect. The Philips headset was already impressively quick, but this one is even faster. After the first connection, it will connect in under 3 seconds.- DurabilityHas not disappointed so far. The Stainless Steel frame looks reassuring. Easily adjustable too.- ComfortThis is one area where the headphones can improve a bit. The memory foam padding is pretty soft, but your ears will start hurting a bit after more than an hour of continuous use.- Sound qualityIt's excellent. Bass packs a nice punch. If you know how to tune your phone's equalizer, these headphones will definitely not disappoint.- Noise cancellationEven though there's no active noise cancellation feature, I must say these headphones do very well. I travel by Mumbai local train everyday, and these headphones blocked out every single sound. Anything that doesn't touch the headphones will not be audible. However, if you're in a very windy place, you can hear the air beating against the ear cups.- Noise bleedDamn near perfect. Even inside my office, which is a very quiet place, someone sitting right beside me can't hear a thing even when I play music at full volume.- Call qualityReceived a few calls while in office. Nothing to complain about. Could hear everything clearly. Will update once I try it out in noisy surroundings.- BatteryJabra claims 6 hours, although I haven't had a chance to test. I use it everyday for 2 hours at 110% volume and about 2-3 hours at 40%, and it easily lasts that long. Charging takes about 60-80 minutes with a high-speed charger.- ButtonsOnly one set of buttons. Didn't like that you have to long press the volume buttons to change to next/previous tracks. Could have added extra buttons for those. Still, this is only secondary.Overall, the Jabra Move is an amazing product. I have been using bluetooth headphones for the last 7 years, and this is easily the best (and most expensive) one I've ever tried. Tune your phone's equalizer well, and you have a great music companion.
I got these headphones yesterday (Feb 5th 2016) after having read and watched several reviews which highly recommended the product. Casing was pretty neat and on first look, the headphones seemed well cushioned in the package. Packaging of other add ons could have been better - they are just lying under another sheet of cushioning. But that isn't that big a deal. On inspecting the headphones I noted, as has been mentioned before, the ear pad covering peeling away, revealing the foaming inside. To give you a better picture, I've added photos - the gist of it being that it seems like the cloth material has been glued rather than stitched, so I believe people are right in suspecting an increased chance of that cloth material coming off. That in itself is a huge overlook from the Jabra design team. But, otherwise, the design is absolutely beautiful. It's minimalist and has subtle elegance to it.The headphones themselves were pretty light with a neat headband made of (apparently) dust resistant cloth material with adequate padding on the undersurface. The pads were connected to the headband with an adjustable band, made of stainless steel. The adjusting bit doesn't require too much effort and is a relatively smooth process.Bluetooth connectivity is fairly easy. Although, its best to familiarise yourself with the buttons on both ear pads so you can use them once you put it on. My rating for these cans would have been a five, if not for the ear pads covering issue, keeping in mind the price range and the competition. This rating has mostly been based on the sound quality - which is absolutely gorgeous. Mids and bass frequencies are done just right and the bass doesnt boom in your ear and neither do the mids feel too flat. Treble was also well done, with no sign of increased disturbance even when tracks were played with increased gain on them. But, that mostly depends on your file quality. I played all kinds of genres from jazz & rock to hip hop & bollywood. Sound was impressive over all the tracks. Can't comment on the other issues people seem to be having (unilateral sound loss and what not), but these are solid wireless headphones at a very affordable price tag. Hope this helped you in making a better choice! To give you a gist -Design - 4/5 (1/5 if the cover aspect bothers you a lot)Ergonomics - 4/5Sound - 4/5Value for money - 5/5.EDIT: Got a new pair and have been using it for a month now. Updating the rating to a 4 stars. Battery life could have been better.
Truly outstanding quality,at this price, just go for it blindly..
I should tell you,i used Sony xb650bt earlier and it's nowhere even nearer to this quality and build.especially it's BT (I mean wireless output is way beyond Sony's with a volume adjustment, which isn't the case with sony)Amazingly outstanding,i chose this through a review posted in an Audio magazine and am more than excited!!! especially you will fall in love with it's packaging and comfort as well....Amazon's delivery time is really amazing as ever....
